If you retire or your hour bank runs out, you would no longer be covered by the group Health & Wellness benefits program; however, you will now have the option, at your own expense, to obtain personal insurance benefits at preferred rates. Access to this personal benefit option will be extended to you as a member without a required waiting period. Members must enroll within 60 days of their group coverage ending.
If you are a member, you may access Additional Life and Critical Illness Insurance at a preferred rate if you wish to have more coverage at your own expense. This insurance would be in addition to the coverage already provided by the group plan.
