IUOE Local 955 maintains a Health & Wellness Trust Fund to support the health care needs of participating Union members and their families.
Effective January 1, 2024, our plan changed to provide two different levels of coverage. Core provides coverage for standard, core benefits, at a reduced cost while Extended provides additional coverage a higher cost. Which group you belong to depends on what CBA you work under, and what the contribution rate is. Watch this video for a quick explanation of the 2024 changes. As of January 1, 2025, Alberta Blue Cross provides the claims administration for our health, dental, and emergency travel benefits. Information about accessing your benefits can be found here, or you can access the Alberta Blue Cross transition hub through the Member Area which has additional information regarding the change in providers.
