Our Team

Blaine is a third-generation Operating Engineer and proud member of Local 955, having joined the union in July 1999. Over his career, Blaine has worked in piling, new construction, and long-term maintenance across major projects including Albian Sands, Syncrude, Suncor, Keephills K3, and Air Liquide. He has spent the past five years operating a mobile crusher for Heidelberg Materials. Appointed as a Job Steward in 2007, Blaine has represented members diligently and participated in collective agreement negotiations in 2021 and 2024. In 2024, he was appointed Executive Board Auditor and remains committed to serving the membership with integrity and solidarity.
