This two-day introductory course covers learning machine systems, OH&S regulations, and the operation of a Class 7 Rough Terrain Telehandler. Students will learn the basics of forklift operations, how to determine lifting capacities by interpreting the manufacturer’s load charts, and how to find information in the owner’s manual to follow the manufacturer’s operating recommendations. Practical exercises and a theory exam will be used in the evaluation process. Successful students will be awarded a Class 7 Rough Terrain Telehandler certificate, valid for three years.
