This comprehensive safety training course, developed by Energy Safety Canada, is designed for workers who may encounter hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) gas (sour gas) in their workplace. It covers the properties and health risks of H₂S, including its toxic nature and symptoms of exposure. Participants will learn how to detect H₂S gas, use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and implement emergency response procedures, including rescue techniques and first aid. Successful students will be awarded an ESC Certificate, valid for three years.
