Our Team

Drew has been a proud member of IUOE Local 955 since July of 2013. He joined the Union as a mobile crane apprentice where he started his career working for Sarens Canada. He then attained a Red Seal Journeyman ticket in the trade, which has led to work in taxi operations as well as major industrial oil & gas sites across Alberta as both an operator and a crane & rigging supervisor. Since joining 955, Drew has been a strong proponent of training and educating apprentices while making sure everyone gets a fair and equal chance to learn and strengthen their skill set.

Drew has always been an active member of the Union, but his first leadership role was in 2024 when he was appointed as job steward while working as an operator for Mammoet Canada Western. In 2025, he was selected to be a member of the executive board election committee where he gained a lot of knowledge and insight regarding how the Union works, and why it is important to be an active member.

When not at work, Drew can usually be found spending time with his wife and daughter or playing tug-of-war with his two dogs, Waffle & Whiskey. He is a huge Oilers fan as well as an avid traveler and concert goer. Drew believes that his hard work ethic as well as his determination to learn and grow as a person and a father is what will make him successful in the role as Business Agent for the hardworking people of IUOE Local 955.
