Corey Bourassa

Corey began his career as a labourer at Sterling Crane through the B.O.B. program before becoming an indentured mobile crane operator apprentice and joining the Operating Engineers in 2014. Now a Heavy Equipment Technician with Barnhartt Cranes, he values teamwork and the strong crews he has worked with—especially the maintenance group at Kearl Lake. His father, Gerald Bourassa, a proud 50-year Local 955 member, was his biggest influence and introduced him to the industry and union. As an Executive Board Member, Corey aims to strengthen communication between leadership and members while continuing to prioritize safety for all workers.
