Josh Hulan’s first experience with the Union began as a non-Member working for Stalex as a Skidsteer operator. Josh was initiated as a Member of OE 955 in 2009 and began his Business Agent role in 2012. He feels the Business Agents and Business Representatives throughout his years as an Agent have been a big influence on his career and have contributed to his development and success.

Josh practices patience and respect and extends these courtesies to peers, Members and everyone he comes in contact with. Josh believes in extending respect to everyone, no matter the circumstance, as it encourages others to behave the same way. Josh maintains professionalism as he cares about the image he reflects as an Agent of the Union.

Josh feels his Business Agent position is the best job he has ever had. Josh enjoys assisting Union Brothers and Sisters and appreciates the opportunity to provide support on a daily basis. He hopes to help advance and better Local 955 through his day to day efforts.

With the help of other Business Agents, Business Representatives, the Business Manager and Union elected officials, Josh aspires to help instill pride and promote equality with Local 955 Members.

Josh considers safety the principal concern for all 955 Members. Josh believes practising safe measures go hand in hand for a happy and productive workforce. Josh hopes 955 Members will help set the bar on safety while working on any site with all individuals regardless if they are Members, non-Members or Building Trades affiliates and wants to see everyone get home to their family every day.
