WANTED: Original Songs and Poems Celebrating the Trades

Are you a poet or songwriter?

Canada’s Building Trades Unions (CBTU) is seeking an original song or poem that celebrates Canadian tradeswomen and men, to be performed at the unveiling of the Canadian Building Trades Monument in Ottawa, Ontario on May 17, 2017.  

All members (and family of members) of affiliated unions are invited to submit. The winner receives a $5,000 prize. The deadline for submission is April 25, 2017. To submit online please go to: https://canadianbuildingtradesmonument.ca/call/
