About the Job Board

Our dispatch team updates the job board daily on weekdays. The job board is open for bidding Monday-Friday between 4:30pm and 10:00am., but job postings can be viewed anytime.

Who Can Bid on Jobs

IUOE Local 955 Members

Our priority is to put our members to work first.  Only Local 955 members can bid on job postings for the first two business days.  To view the most recent job postings, click here and enter your log-in information.

Use our Work Experience Profile (click here) to keep your skills, experience, tickets and certifications up to date.


IUOE Travel Card Members

  • Travel cards are permits that allow members from one local to work in another IUOE local.

IUOE members with travel cards can bid on jobs two business days after the job was first posted.

When bidding on a job, please submit:

  • Your resume Use our Work Experience Profile (click here)
  • A copy of a current travel card
  • Copies of relevant tickets or certifications

IMPORTANT: Travel cards are only valid for 90 days.  Out of work dues must be paid to your home local.  If you successfully bid on a job, working dues must be paid to Local 955.


Non-Members

If we are not able to fill a job with Local 955 members, non-members can bid on jobs two business days after the job was first posted.

If you are no longer an IUOE member (but were in the past), please contact the Union Hall to let us know which local you were initiated in and the dates you were a member.

Specific worksite and physical (geographic) location for job position

ACCOMMODATION

Camp, LOA (Living Out Allowance), Camp for Out of Town Applicants

TRANSPORTATION

Flights, Flight allowance, Busing to and from worksite

START DATE

Approximate date - bidder must be available to work on this date; employer will determine actual start date

HOURS OF WORK

Scheduled working hours/days and days off

SHIFT

Scheduled shifts (days, nights, rotating days and nights)

JOB DURATION

To be determined by employer

AGREEMENT

Collective agreement determines wages, benefits, allowances

AGREEMENT CONDITIONS

Site specific working conditions

OCCUPATION

Job title; activity to be performed i.e. grader operator

DESCRIPTION

Detailed duties, equipment specifications

TICKETS REQUIRED

Safety, apprentice/journeyman tickets

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS Includes orientation instructions, pre-employment, post-incident alcohol and drug testing, worksite requirements, transportation requirements
